25 May Substantial support from Energy Agency

May 2020:

9 Million SEK has been granted from Swedish Energy Agency to scale up production of Altris cathode material Fennac and to demonstrate the next generation of battery based on only abundant elements.

-Batteries that are based on easily accessible and durable raw materials are one of the keys to the transformation of the transport and energy systems. The project is an important step towards the market for long-term sustainable batteries, says Greger Ledung at the Swedish Energy Agency, an expert in battery research.
